Used by thousands of professionals worldwide,
Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures greatly simplify all installation phases and ensure the highest level of reliability for PV systems, even when the installation is done on the ground. Ground-mounted photovoltaic weights
do not require any soil drilling for anchoring, and provide the panels with
exceptional wind resistance while simply being placed on the surface. The weights serve both as support and as ballast, making the installation of PV systems on flat surfaces much
easier and faster. The
20 kW system visible in the photo was installed in Spain on a layer of compacted gravel placed over the raw earth, a process that offers better stability for the systems.
The Monofila system – used here in the 30° version – is also available with inclinations of 0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 15°, and 20°, allowing for
free modulation of both the length and the distance between rows, providing maximum flexibility in both design and assembly phases. Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, those used in this installation already contain
M8 bushings for panel fixation, and are
warrantied for 25 years.
