Basic S.r.l. is a leading Italian manufacturer of mounting structures for photovoltaic systems. Since 2012, it has offered a reliable alternative to the systems currently available on the market, introducing an innovative product: “Sun Ballast®”, the mounting structure for solar modules on flat roofs.
Sun Ballast® was born from the direct experience of its creators, Maurizio Iannuzzi and Giuseppe Di Tella. Faced with real installation and support challenges, they were driven to develop new solutions, with the goal of creating a system that combines safety and practicality, making the work of designers, installers, and maintenance technicians easier and more coordinated.
Sun Ballast® was created with the aim of making a significant contribution to the renewable energy market, a sector inherently connected to challenge and the concept of sustainability.
Our activities and resources are focused on developing solutions in which cost, environmental impact, and product quality are fully aligned and continuously improved.
The owners’ approach to managing the company is inspired by a clear natural principle rooted in ethics:

The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.
