New East-West System by Sun Ballast: EasyWest is designed to optimize the efficiency of east-west installations on flat roofs while minimizing the load on the rooftop. Thanks to its high wind resistance and compatibility with all module types, EasyWest provides an extremely lightweight, manageable, and robust support structure. Its innovative design allows for quick and easy installation, making it ideal for both standard panels and large-size modules.
Module Fixing Clamps
Even when it comes to clamps, the EasyWest system stands out for its innovative design and advanced functionality. We offer two types of clamps: the first, made of stainless steel, features special teeth designed to bite into the anodized layer of the module, thereby ensuring equipotential bonding of the modules and facilitating overall grounding of the system. For projects where grounding is not required, an aluminum version is also available, offering the same functionality with a simplified two-element design.
Weight Modularity and Wind Resistance
The EasyWest system creates a grid between modules and ballasts, ensuring excellent wind resistance while keeping rooftop load reduced, below 20 kg/m². However, in areas exposed to strong winds or on highly exposed buildings, the system’s weight can be increased at specific points of the installation. It is possible to install more than one ballast along the same module, both on the upper and lower parts. In addition, the U-Block can be integrated a supplementary 30 kg weight used in Sun Ballast systems.

The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.
