The ballasts of the Mono-XL system – available in both 5° and 10° – are designed to provide large PV panels with solid and secure support, without sacrificing convenience and speed of assembly. In fact, the system allows the distance between rows to be freely adjusted, making the handling of obstacles much faster and simplifying all installation steps. Fixing on the long side also ensures high resistance to wind and snow loads, and compliance with the support parameters specified by the manufacturers ensures that module warranties are maintained. Like all Sun Ballast ballasts, those in the Mono-XL system do not require any drilling holes in the roof, already contain the fastening bushings inside, and can be used on any flat surface.

The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.

Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, and allow bypassing the anodization of the panel frames, acting as an electrical bridge and making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the taller ballast (23010.EP), while the EV version is fixed to the shorter ballast (23010.EV).
