When it comes to structures for photovoltaic systems on flat roofs, versatility is one of the essential requirements: all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts have been developed to ensure maximum flexibility, both in the design phase and during installation, and – thanks to the combination of support and ballast in a single element – they ensure a simple and fast installation on all types of flat roofs. The PV system of almost 20 kWp visible in the photo was installed by our client Z&B Impianti on the flat roof of a small warehouse in Brescia, and thanks to the Monofila system at 10° from Sun Ballast, the installation was carried out easily and quickly. The ballasts are available in numerous versions – from 0° to 30° of inclination – and allow for the mounting of photovoltaic panels both horizontally and vertically: a great advantage, which allows for the safe management (as seen in the photos) of panels of different sizes. These features, combined with the ability to freely adjust the distance between rows, make the Monofila system extremely flexible and versatile, and ensure a quick installation even in the presence of obstacles on the roof. The absence of complex accessories such as covers, bars, profiles, or components to assemble also helps to further reduce installation times, simplifying all mounting and installation operations.
