The photovoltaic ballast weights from Sun Ballast are currently used by thousands of installers worldwide. What is the reason? Their
great simplicity: The concrete structures serve both as
ballast and support, do not require
fixing holes on the roof, and can be easily positioned on
any type of flat surface. This photovoltaic system on a flat roof was implemented in Switzerland by our client
Solar Guide, and the use of the
Monofila 10° system has minimized both the difficulty and installation time: The ballasts do not require complex accessories (bars, covers, etc.) and can even be quickly placed on tile roofs. As can be seen in the photos, each photovoltaic ballast weight from Sun Ballast also includes – already pre-installed in the concrete – the
M8 sockets, to which the supports are fixed; this way, there is no need to drill the structure, and wind resistance is strong and secure, even in intense arcs. The installation of the modules is considerably simplified: It is only necessary to place the module on the ballasts, fix the supports to the sockets, and the installation is complete. The
Monofila system is available with inclinations of
0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 11°, 15°, 20°, and 30°, allows for free adaptation of the distance between rows, and is compatible with all Sun Ballast accessories.
