High wind resistance, low weight, and simplified installation: the Connect System from Sun Ballast offers a robust and durable solution for photovoltaic systems on flat roofs, ensuring the highest level of reliability and resilience against climatic events. With this system, every photovoltaic structure is connected to all others in a unique network, and the loads on the roof are well balanced throughout the ballast network.   This photovoltaic system on a flat roof with 46 kWp was installed in Galliera Veneta (PD) by our customer Termoidraulica Bottelli Vasco S.R.L: The installation took place on a large roof covered with a slate membrane, and the ballasts from Sun Ballast for photovoltaic systems simplified all assembly phases by requiring no mounting holes and minimizing installation time and costs. The Connect System – here in the 15° version – is available in a range of inclinations from 5° to 30° and consists of three different structures for photovoltaic systems: a front ballast, a central ballast, and an end ballast.   Like all structures from Sun Ballast, those of the Connect System also include the M8 fastening caps inside and are guaranteed for 25 years.

    POWERCLAMP PLATE KIT

    The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.

    KIT GRAFFA EASYWEST EV

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, and allow bypassing the anodization of the panel frames, acting as an electrical bridge and making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the taller ballast (23010.EP), while the EV version is fixed to the shorter ballast (23010.EV).

    GRAFFA EASYWEST EP KIT

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, allowing for the overcoming of the anodization of the panel frames by acting as an electrical bridge, making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the higher ballasts (23010.EP), while the EV version attaches to the lower ballasts (23010.EV).

The bracket also serves as an electrical bridge between the panels, making grounding operations – if necessary – much simpler and faster.
