Sistema Monofila – 59.4 kWp

This photovoltaic system with a power of 59.40 kWp was installed on a large flat roof with membrane in Buccinasco (MI) by our client TDK Service, and thanks to the Monofila system at 15° from Sun Ballast, the installation was completed in a simple and fast manner. The structures for photovoltaics combine both the support and ballast functions in a single solution, and not requiring any fixing holes represent a simple and extremely versatile system usable for all photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. The ballasts for photovoltaics of the Monofila system are available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°), allowing the panels to be fixed both in a horizontal and vertical position, and offering the possibility to modulate the distance between rows without any constraints. The addition of the No-Flex system – the solution developed by Sun Ballast to prevent flexing of large panels – has also allowed for an increase in support points from 4 to 6, while respecting all support parameters: the insertion of the special steel bracket on the additional ballast allows for the panel to be fixed also in the central part, further improving its structural resistance and reducing the risk of flexing to zero, even in the presence of strong gusts of wind.
