The Sun Ballast weights have been designed to offer designers and installers of photovoltaic systems a
simple, versatile, and reliable solution: the structures allow for the installation of systems on any type of flat roof, without the need to drill the covering and reducing overall installation times. All Sun Ballast support systems also guarantee maximum wind resistance and can be used in both residential contexts and on large flat roofs of industrial and commercial buildings. The
7.8 kWp system installed by our client Sunkraft was built on a flat gravel roof using the
Monofila system at 10°, an extremely
simple and flexible solution that allows for easy management of all obstacles present on flat roofs. The installation was indeed carried out
quickly and without any difficulties, and the ability to freely adjust both the length and the distance between rows allowed for the adaptation of the PV system configuration to the available space on the roof. Ideal for flat roofs with many obstacles (skylights, fans, chimneys, etc.), the Monofila system allows for the mounting of photovoltaic panels in both
horizontal and
vertical orientations, and is available in a wide range of versions, from 0° to 30°.
