These two photovoltaic installations on flat roofs were carried out by our French client
Soleil Du Sud at two schools in Forcalquier and Manosque: both reach a power of
36 kWp and were installed using the
Monofila 30° System from Sun Ballast. Thanks to the photovoltaic ballasts, the installation was carried out
quickly and with great ease, without
drilling the roof and guarantees the photovoltaic modules a high degree of stability and wind resistance. The concrete ballasts that make up the Monofila system are available with inclinations of
0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°, and 30°, allowing the photovoltaic modules to be fixed both horizontally and vertically and freely adjust the length and distance between rows. In this way, the installation of structures for photovoltaic modules is
simple and quick, even in the presence of numerous obstacles,
which reduces installation times and facilitates all assembly work. The use of Sun Ballast photovoltaic ballasts does not require complex elements (bars, covers, etc.), and the
M8 nuts pre-installed in the concrete – in addition to high practicality – also guarantee extremely high adhesion against all mechanical loads resulting from wind and snow loads.
