An efficient and robust photovoltaic system, which has been
installed simply and quickly: Our client
Sonnergie AG has implemented it in
Kloten (Switzerland) on a flat roof with gravel, and thanks to the Sun Ballast structures for photovoltaic modules, the installation was carried out quickly and without complications. The concrete ballasts of the
East-West System 15° did not require complex metal components or anchoring holes in the roof: the structures were simply placed on the existing layer under the gravel, ensuring a quick installation and high resistance to all disturbances. The
East-West System is modular – according to needs – with a wide range of Sun Ballast ballasts, which vary in both inclination (
from 3° to 30°) and height above the ground. The arrangement of the modules in the east-west direction also minimizes the sail effect and completely eliminates the space between rows, optimizing the available space and ensuring that the system has high and consistent productivity. Like all concrete ballasts from Sun Ballast, the
M8 fixing caps visible in the photo are also included: this way, the fastening of the supports is even stronger and more durable, and the installation of the modules is done
quickly and safely.
