A spectacular installation carried out by our client Soltea in France. Four different buildings host four
different photovoltaic systems that together produce
70 kWp of renewable energy. All systems were built using the
weights of the Standard system with a 15° inclination. From the images, it is easy to understand the practicality and versatility of this type of system, which allows for absolute
freedom in positioning the photovoltaic modules, easily circumventing all obstacles and/or shading present on the roof. The high parapet and numerous obstacles on the flat roof of these buildings could have posed a hindrance to the installation of a traditional system, but not for Sun Ballast. The ability to
install the modules independently or in small groups is a huge advantage that the Standard system offers, which is also why it is the most used among our systems. Another advantage is the ease of installation on all types of roofs; it is indeed
easy to position our weights even on surfaces covered with gravel, as in this case, since there is no need to secure the weights to the roof, but they
can simply be laid down.
