Sun Ballast is once again in Bulgaria thanks to a beautiful ground-mounted photovoltaic system installed in a cemented area for which the
Sun Ballast ballasts were chosen, arranged to create a structure with an east-west orientation. The
East-West system is the best solution in cases where a strong wind resistance of the entire system is necessary, with the panels positioned adjacent to each other, avoiding the sail effect by not having openings behind them through which the wind could enter. Additionally, it allows for
recovering space that is usually left free for shading between the different rows of panels. The customer chose an inclination of 10°, and due to the particular orientation, the East-West system was perfect for ensuring a
constant production of energy throughout the day and not just during the hottest hours because the panels are exposed on both sides. The result achieved by our customer SMV ENERGY LTD is a solid, productive, and versatile photovoltaic system capable of producing up to
232 kWp of clean energy.
