Sistema Connect – 14.4 kWp

A single interconnected ballast grid to ensure the photovoltaic system maximum resistance in all weather conditions: in terms of stability and hold, the Connect system by Sun Ballast represents a true guarantee, both for small domestic systems and for installations on large industrial facilities. Composed of three different ballasts – a front ballast, a central ballast, and a terminal ballast – the Connect system represents the perfect solution when the goal is to ensure the highest level of hold and resistance, even against the most intense wind forces. The interconnection of all structures into a single collaborative network allows for extremely balanced distribution of wind loads across the entire roof, providing the photovoltaic panels with maximum stability, even in the presence of particularly adverse weather events. The latest system of 14.4 kWp for our client Sirio Electronic Services was installed on the flat roof of a residential building in Pietrasanta, in the province of Lucca, and the Connect 10° system made the installation not only stable and resistant but also easy and quick: the ballasts did not require any anchoring to the surface, and the installation was completed rapidly and without any hitches. The integrity of the flooring was also ensured by special rubber pads placed under the structures: in addition to further increasing the solidity of the system, the pads prevent direct contact of the ballast with the roof, completely avoiding any risk of damage to the surface.
