This
258 kW photovoltaic ground system was built in
France by our client
Winelia Energie, and thanks to the Sun Ballast ballasted photovoltaic system, the installation was carried out in a
quick and professional manner. The structures for photovoltaic modules combine both
support and
ballast functions in a single component and do not require
fixing holes, regardless of whether the system is installed on a flat roof or on the ground. The system is simply placed, which minimizes assembly times and simplifies all fixing phases. For this system, the
Monofila 15° system was used, a simple and versatile solution that adjusts both the length and the distance between rows. Available in a wide range of inclinations from
0° to 30°, the ballasts already include
fixing sleeves: this way, the installation of the modules is much faster, and wind resistance is also guaranteed even in strong arcs. To facilitate the management of this system, a
plastic cover was placed after the compaction work in the area (useful to prevent vegetation growth), and the ballasts were placed directly on the material, without making holes or cracks. Like all Sun Ballast ballasts, those from the
Monofila system are made of
high-quality concrete, which is resistant to all types of corrosion, ensuring
extremely high resistance to weather conditions and offering
25 years of warranty.
