This flat-tilt photovoltaic system with
9 kWp was installed by our French client
SAS IDEESYS in a residential building in
Saint-Forgeux, using concrete ballast from Sun Ballast for photovoltaic installations. These structures offer numerous advantages, starting with their great simplicity: the installation
does not require holes in the roof, the
M8 anchors are already pre-installed in the concrete, and the installation is simple and quick on any flat surface (gravel, membrane, concrete, paving stones, etc.). The
Monofila 20° system also allowed for flexible adaptation of both the row lengths and the distance between them, which considerably accelerated the installation and allowed for savings in time and labor costs. The photovoltaic ballasts of the
Monofila 20° system allow for the mounting of modules in both
horizontal and vertical formats, giving designers and installers the option to choose the most suitable mounting system according to the characteristics of the system and the building. In this case, the mounting was done on the long side of the modules, and stability, as well as wind resistance, were ensured by integrating the ballasts with the
Cablowind system, the special concrete channel that is visible on the back of the structures. The installation of
Cablowind also requires
no holes, and the metal guides, on which the channel is placed, are fixed directly to the existing anchors on the back of the ballasts. As additional weight and as a channel for electrical cables, and also compatible with the additional weights
U-Block,
Cablowind has further reinforced the stability and reliability of the system, offering the end customer the highest level of safety.
