Sun Ballast Standard System and Cablowind are the ideal combination to achieve maximum versatility along with maximum resistance. For this small-scale installation, our client S.I.E.R. SNC chose, in agreement with the Sun Ballast technical office, a solution with a particularly high inclination of 30°. This type of ballast, while being particularly effective in terms of renewable energy production, may require the use of some additional weights depending on the installation area to maximize wind resistance and prevent the sail effect caused by strong air currents. That is why the best choice could only be to use not only 60kg additional weights but also, and above all, the new accessory Sun Ballast, Cablowind, the best way to combine resistance with the aesthetic aspect of the system. Cablowind is indeed the concrete accessory that serves the dual purpose of additional ballast and a channel for the proper housing of cables. Thanks to this solution, our client was able to create a system that is not only solid but also productive and tidy.
