The
Vela system by Sun Ballast is one of the most used solutions for the construction of small photovoltaic systems: when the space dedicated to installation is limited, the Vela system allows for optimal use, positioning the rows of panels consecutively and completely eliminating the gaps between the modules. This small system of
3 kWp was built in Belfort (France) by our client Powers-On and was placed on the ground next to an industrial facility. The installation was carried out with great
speed by placing the ballast directly on the gravel layer: Sun Ballast structures do not require
any anchoring, and handling occurs quickly on any type of surface, ensuring maximum resistance to stresses generated by the wind in all situations. Available with two different inclinations, the 11° Vela system – used for this installation – allows for the positioning of up to three rows of panels, while the 5° version can accommodate as many as six consecutive rows: thanks to its particular configuration, the Vela system by Sun Ballast allows for the
maximum optimization of the system's performance, making it the perfect solution to make
even the smallest spaces useful and productive.
