Sistema Monofila – 10 kWp

This photovoltaic system of almost 10 kW was built in Westerburg, Germany, by our client PlusMinus Engineering, and thanks to the weights of the Monofila system at 20°, the installation was carried out in a simple and fast manner. The ability to use the same structure on all types of surfaces offers numerous advantages to designers and installers of PV systems, and the special design of Sun Ballast's flat roof weights allows for maximum flexibility, both during the design phase and during installation. In this case, the weights were first placed on the waterproofing membrane, followed by the layer of gravel: Sun Ballast solutions – not requiring any fastening – can indeed be used with maximum versatility, providing a simple and secure support on all types of flat roofing. Available in a wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°), the Monofila system can be integrated with numerous accessories: in the installation shown in the photo, the Cablowind system is visible, designed to combine two different functions into a single and simple accessory. Cablowind serves both as a supplementary weight – increasing wind resistance and optimizing load distribution – and as a cable channel, ensuring an even more solid, organized, and professional PV system under all conditions.
