Little space available and a roof covered with obstacles? A real dilemma for those who decide to install a photovoltaic system. A dilemma that can be easily resolved when choosing to rely on the expertise and versatility of Sun Ballast products. In this case, we are talking about the most suitable system to solve the problems of limited space, the Sun Ballast Sail system. In this instance, our client Pegaso Srl chose to use a 5° inclination, allowing for the placement of up to a maximum of six rows of panels consecutively without leaving space between the panels, an excellent way to recover space that would otherwise remain unused and achieve the required production goals. Additionally, in the case of obstacles such as skylights, chimneys, or any other classic obstacles that may be found on a roof, it is possible to interrupt the rows or use single-file ballast. All of this has enabled the creation of a photovoltaic system capable of producing up to 66.375 kWp of renewable energy.
