Designed to make the most of even small surfaces of residential buildings, the structures for photovoltaic panels on flat roofs of the
Vela system by Sun Ballast offer a practical and quick installation solution. The ballast for photovoltaics does not require
any drilling, nor the use of any complex metal components: this way, positioning the assembly phases becomes
much simpler, and the freedom of movement allows for easy management of all obstacles present on the roof. The Vela system also includes concrete ballasts with different heights, allowing the rows of modules to be placed close to each other
avoiding shading, and optimizing space management. Depending on the characteristics of the roof, these photovoltaic structures can also be used for the placement of single rows, adjusting the distance between them without constraints and selecting the most suitable height for the system. The
7 kW system visible in the photo was installed by our client Oléron Sous le Soleil 17 on a modern residential building in Riantec (France). The result? A professional and well-executed photovoltaic system on a flat roof, capable of ensuring not only high energy production but also the highest level of
safety and reliability.
