Who said that creating a domestic
ground-mounted photovoltaic system is difficult or almost impossible? With the Sun Ballast supports for photovoltaic modules, it's simple, and the installation carried out by our client Modus Green Energy S.R.L. is an example of this; it only takes a few small adjustments in the
ground preparation. As can be seen from the photos, the photovoltaic system in question used the
Sun Ballast Vela system with inclined weights of 11°.2 and 11°.3, a system known and chosen by many of our clients because it
optimizes space and maximizes production. For installations in close contact with the ground, the weight of the structure supporting the panels is not a limitation; rather, attention should be focused on other elements such as the preparation of the surface so that the stresses experienced over time do not impact the installation in the future. Our client cleared the land through excavation or grading, laid a non-woven fabric over the leveled soil, and finally compacted everything with gravel; no concrete pouring was necessary. The result is a beautiful, as well as efficient, domestic photovoltaic system of
6 kWp of renewable energy.
