Sistema Monofila – 27.5 kWp

Simplicity and durability in a single solution: Sun Ballast support systems allow for the installation of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs in a quick and easy manner, while ensuring the highest level of wind and weather resistance. The Monofila system – available in a wide range of versions from 0° to 30° of inclination – also allows for the adaptation of the PV system layout to the specific characteristics of the roof, easily modulating both the length and the distance between rows of photovoltaic panels. The system in the photo – with a capacity of 27.5 kWp – was installed in Löwenstein (Germany) by our client JKW Energy GmbH & Co. KG using the Monofila 15° system, and the installation took place on the flat membrane roof of an industrial facility. Thanks to the special design of the Sun Ballast weights, the system achieved maximum wind resistance with a simple adjustment: at points of greater exposure to the currents, multiple weights (two or three) were placed side by side, connecting the structures with a special bracket and securing the PV module to one of them. In this way, the stability of the panels is extremely high, and the high level of resistance ensures the photovoltaic system's maximum reliability in all weather conditions.
