This photovoltaic system with
5 kWp was created by
ILES s.r.l. on the flat roof of a residential building in
Prato. Thanks to the use of Sun Ballast structures for the photovoltaic modules, the installation was carried out in a
easy and quick manner. The placement of the concrete ballast
does not require any drilling, and the
M8 fixing plugs already present in the ballast further reduce assembly times; it is only necessary to place the structure, position the module, secure the support to the plug, and make the electrical connections. The
Monofila 10° system also offers many other advantages, such as the ability to control the position of the modules much more easily: the length and distance between the rows are freely adjustable according to the specific characteristics of the roof, a very useful feature, especially when there are many obstacles on the roof. The
Monofila system is available in a wide range of inclinations –
from 0° to 30° – and allows the modules to be fixed on both the long and short sides. If it is necessary to further increase wind resistance, simply add some
U-Block: these additional U-shaped weights are placed very quickly directly on the photovoltaic ballast and are available in
15 and 30 Kg versions.
