This flat roof photovoltaic system with
30 kWp was installed by our client
G.M. srl in
Laterina Pergine Valdarno, in the province of
Arezzo. The use of concrete ballast for Sun Ballast photovoltaic installations allowed for a simple and quick installation, reducing installation times and simplifying all assembly phases. The structures – here the
Version 10° was used – do not require any type of fixation to the roof: it is sufficient to place them, without drilling, pull the supports over the
prefabricated M8 plugs in the concrete, and make the electrical connections. The ballast systems for photovoltaic modules of the
Single Row System are available in a
wide range of inclinations (from 0° to 30°) and – as can be seen in the photos – allow for the mounting of modules in
vertical (on the short side) and
horizontal (on the long side), according to the requirements and characteristics of the system. Not needing anchoring, the ballast systems can be placed on
all types of surfaces and also allow for quick modulation of the length and distance between rows of modules: a great advantage that not only accelerates all assembly phases but also facilitates the handling of obstacles (chimneys, roof windows, etc.) that are often found on flat roofs of warehouses and residential buildings.
