Sistema Est-Ovest – 29 kWp

Installed in Lütisburg (Switzerland) by our client Fyrosol AG Solar, this photovoltaic system was built on the flat gravel roof of a new residential building, and thanks to the Sun Ballast concrete weights, the installation was carried out in a easy, quick, and professional manner.   The Sun Ballast structures for photovoltaic panels require no fixing holes and can be quickly placed on any type of surface. In this case, the installation took place on a gravel covering: once the layer of stones was removed, the ballast was placed on the underlying membrane, and the gravel was then repositioned around the structure. A very quick process that guarantees the roof maximum protection and the PV system the best level of resistance to weather conditions. The 29 kW system visible in the photo was built with the 10° weights used in two different configurations: Sun Ballast systems indeed guarantee maximum flexibility of use, simplifying not only the assembly operations but also all phases of design.   In this system, the weights were arranged both with an East-West orientation and a landscape fixing, as well as in single rows with portrait fixing. A practical and smart use that fully exploited all the advantages offered by Sun Ballast weights for photovoltaics.
