Installed in the
Südsteiermark (Germany) by our client
FERK Elektrotechnik, this photovoltaic system was built on the flat roof with membrane of a residence. Thanks to the
East-West 15° from Sun Ballast, the installation was carried out simply, quickly, and professionally. Since
no fixing holes are required, the structures for photovoltaic modules can be quickly placed on any type of surface (gravel, concrete, paving stones, membranes, etc.), which reduces installation times and simplifies all assembly phases. The 13 kW system visible in the photo was built with one of the many versions of the
East-West Systems: This system is modular with a wide range of weights for photovoltaics (
from 3° to 30°) and is installed by positioning the weights in opposite pairs. In addition to increasing solar exposure hours and the
level of weather resistance, the dual orientation of the photovoltaic modules allows rows to be placed next to each other, eliminating gaps between the modules and maximizing the entire roof area. A significant advantage, which is especially useful when – as is often the case on terraces or rooftops of residential buildings – the space for the photovoltaic system is quite limited and all areas must be efficiently optimized.
