Wind resistance, lightweight, and simple and quick installation: the ballast weight for photovoltaics from Connect-Systems by Sun Ballast offers a robust and reliable solution for photovoltaic installations on flat roofs, especially when the goal is to ensure that the modules have the maximum degree of weather resistance. With this system, each ballast weight for photovoltaics is connected to all the others in a single collaborative network, generating extremely high wind resistance and distributing loads across the entire roof surface.   The photovoltaic system visible in the photo with 29 kW was installed in Andacette (France) by our client Etera Sarl: the installation was carried out on a flat gravel roof, and the photovoltaic structures from Sun Ballast did not require fixing holes: they were simply placed, minimizing installation time and costs.   The Connect system (here in the 15° version) is available in a wide range of inclinations from 5° to 30° and consists of three different concrete weights: one front, one central, and one terminal. All Sun Ballast structures include M8 fixing points inside and are guaranteed for 25 years.

    POWERCLAMP PLATE KIT

    The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.

    KIT GRAFFA EASYWEST EV

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, and allow bypassing the anodization of the panel frames, acting as an electrical bridge and making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the taller ballast (23010.EP), while the EV version is fixed to the shorter ballast (23010.EV).

    GRAFFA EASYWEST EP KIT

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, allowing for the overcoming of the anodization of the panel frames by acting as an electrical bridge, making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the higher ballasts (23010.EP), while the EV version attaches to the lower ballasts (23010.EV).
