High performance, reduced load, and simple and fast installation: the Connect system by Sun Ballast offers photovoltaic systems on flat roofs a solid and reliable solution, especially when the goal is to ensure the solar modules the highest level of resistance to weather conditions. In this configuration, each ballast for photovoltaics is connected to all the others in a single network of structures, generating very high stability and distributing loads evenly across the entire surface. The photovoltaic system of 396 kWp visible in the photo was installed in Estonia in Harjumaa, by our client Energiapartner: the installation took place on the large roof of an important logistics center, and the Sun Ballast structures for photovoltaic panels simplified all installation phases, requiring no fixing holes and speeding up the installation times. The Connect system (shown here in the 15° version) is available in a wide range of inclinations from 5° to 30°, and consists of three different structures for photovoltaics: a front ballast, a central ballast, and a terminal ballast. All Sun Ballast concrete ballasts already contain the M8 fixing sleeves inside and are guaranteed for 25 years.
