Low load per square meter and high resistance to weather agents: the Connect system by Sun Ballast offers photovoltaic systems on flat roofs the highest level of reliability, ensuring that the PV modules have a high wind resistance. In this system, each ballast for photovoltaics is connected to all the others in a single grid, distributing the loads of the system across the entire roof.   The photovoltaic system of 140 kWp visible in the photo was installed in Keila (Estonia) by our client Energiapartner: the installation was carried out on the flat roof with membrane of a large industrial warehouse, and the structures for photovoltaic panels from Sun Ballast made the installation phases much simpler and faster, requiring no anchoring holes and minimizing assembly times.   The Connect system (here used in the 15° version) is available with inclinations from 5° to 30°, and consists of three different structures for photovoltaics: a front ballast, a central one, and a terminal one. Like all Sun Ballast concrete ballasts, those of the Connect system also already contain the M8 fixing sleeves inside and are guaranteed for 25 years.

    POWERCLAMP PLATE KIT

    The new plate dedicated to the PowerClamp bracket has been designed to ensure an even more secure fastening for the terminal panels: resting on the concrete of the ballast, the plate provides the metal teeth of the bracket with a solid and reliable support, offering a practical, robust, and quick solution.

    KIT GRAFFA EASYWEST EV

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The special metal teeth provide a strong and durable fastening, and allow bypassing the anodization of the panel frames, acting as an electrical bridge and making grounding operations much simpler and faster. The brackets come in two different sizes: the EP version is to be used on the taller ballast (23010.EP), while the EV version is fixed to the shorter ballast (23010.EV).

    GRAFFA EASYWEST EP KIT

    Specifically designed for the EasyWest system, the PowerClamp brackets are made of stainless steel 304 and ensure high safety from both mechanical and electrical perspectives. The bracket also serves as an electrical bridge between the panels, making grounding operations – if necessary – much simpler and faster.
