Sistema Monofila – 497.8 kWp

A large photovoltaic system of 497.8 Kwp has been built in Austria by our client Energieautonom GmbH on a large flat surface covered with a membrane, thanks to the use of Sun Ballast support structures for photovoltaic modules. The ballast used is from the Standard system with a 0° inclination, this type of inclination is often chosen and used by our Technical Office in agreement with the client mainly when there are landscape constraints at the installation site. The versatility of the system used has allowed for consideration of the characteristics of the covering, enabling the avoidance of chimneys and small obstacles scattered throughout the area. Furthermore, since our structures are simply placed and not fixed to the ground through holes, the properties of the protective membrane covering the surface remain unchanged, and the covering is further preserved by the use of special membranes provided by Sun Ballast that act as an additional protective layer. Stability, versatility, and high wind resistance are advantages that have allowed for the realization of this beautiful system that produces renewable energy amidst the fresh mountain air.
