Photovoltaic systems installed on the roofs of residential buildings represent an increasingly important resource and can decisively contribute to the ecological transition: Sun Ballast structures aim to facilitate this process by making installation increasingly
simple and fast and easing the work of all operators in the sector. This PV system of
4.2 kwp was created by Elos Srl on the flat roof of a house in Quartu Sant’Elena – along the Sardinian coast – and thanks to the Sun Ballast support systems, the installation was carried out quickly and with great ease. The ballast weights were simply placed on the covering, without the need for any further preparation, and the
Monofila system – used here in the 15° version – ensured maximum installation flexibility. This solution indeed offers the possibility to adjust both the length and the distance between rows of PV panels, adapting the system configuration to the specific characteristics of the roof without hindrance. Available in a wide range of inclinations, the Monofila system also allows for modules to be fixed both horizontally and vertically, optimizing space management and ensuring a
solid and efficient photovoltaic system in all situations.
