It is a challenging task to create a photovoltaic system capable of achieving the production goals required by the client with limited space available, but with the supports for photovoltaic modules of the Vela system from Sun Ballast, it is possible and easy to make the most of even a restricted area. The Vela system is structurally designed to utilize up to 20% more space compared to traditional systems precisely because of its sail-like shape, where the panels are laid out consecutively without leaving the free space that is usually left due to shading. It is possible to install up to 6 rows of consecutive panels for 5° inclinations and up to 3 rows for 11° inclinations. Moreover, it is easy and quick to install our ballasts as they are simply placed on the ground without the need for fixing holes, a significant advantage for the flat flooring on which the system in question has been installed because it remains undamaged. The result of the installation carried out by our client Elektra Engineering is a small but productive system capable of reaching up to 4.80 Kwp of clean energy.
