The photovoltaic system represented in the photo was created by Electro Project on a terrace in Forio, the largest town on the beautiful island of Ischia. Thanks to the
Vela System 5° from Sun Ballast, the space dedicated to the system has been maximized. The system consists of concrete structures for photovoltaics and allows the creation of
efficient and productive photovoltaic systems on flat roofs, even in limited areas: Sun Ballast weights are effectively positioned next to each other with increasing height, reducing the distance between rows of photovoltaic modules to zero and ensuring a
simple and quick installation on any type of roof. The absence of fixing holes and complex elements (bars, covers, etc.) greatly simplifies the installation phases, and the ability to adjust the number of rows according to the specific characteristics of the roof offers planners and installers the highest degree of
flexibility. This photovoltaic system of
5.25 kWp consists of two main sails (one with two, the other with three rows of modules) and to ensure maximum resistance against coastal winds, some
U-Blocks have been added: These additional weights are placed directly on the photovoltaic ballast and allow for an increase in
stability and resistance of the systems in just a few minutes. The Vela system is available in two versions (5° and 11°), and the ballasts it consists of can also be used for the placement of individual rows.
