This photovoltaic system of
9 kWp was installed by our client
Edmond Solutions on the flat roof with membrane of a house in
Saint Raphaël (France), and thanks to the
Monofila 3° ballasts from Sun Ballast, the installation was completed with
great ease. The fastening of the structure for photovoltaics used does not require
any drilling, and is done simply by placing the ballasts on the roofing layer: in this case, to ensure maximum grip, the ballasts were positioned on the membrane present under the gravel, which was then rearranged around the structure. The concrete ballasts are available in a
wide range of inclinations (
from 0° to 30°), allow the photovoltaic panels to be fixed
both on the long side and on the short side, and offer the possibility to freely adjust both the length of the rows of modules and the distance between them. An important advantage when the roofing has many obstacles, or when – as in this case – the geometry of the building is irregular.
