This flat roof photovoltaic system of 20 kWp was created by our client Edimpianti in Campobasso, and the use of the Sun Ballast support for photovoltaic panels allowed for a quick installation of a reliable and professional system. The Mono-XL 10° system (also available with a 5° inclination) indeed provides a solid and durable support for large panels, and the fixation on the long side (portrait) ensures high wind resistance while respecting all the support parameters indicated in the technical data sheets of the modules. Like all Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures, the Mono-XL does not require anchoring holes, nor any metal accessories to assemble: just position them on the roof, lay the panels, and tighten the clamps. With the Mono-XL system, it is also possible to freely adjust both the length and the distance between the rows, speeding up the management of obstacles and adjusting the layout of the system according to the characteristics of the building. To further increase the stability of the panels, some U-Blocks, additional weights of 30 Kg, have also been placed on the ballast, which – easily resting on the structures – allow for an increase in resistance and holding of the system in just a few minutes.
