Connect System by Sun Ballast offers numerous advantages for planners and installers. The connection of each ballast for photovoltaics in a
single interconnected system allows for the use of lighter structures for photovoltaic modules, thereby reducing loads on the roof and transportation costs. The
wind resistance is also extremely high, and loads are evenly distributed across the roof. The system visible in the photo, with
18 kW, was installed in
Ciampino (Rome) with the
Connect 20° System from our client
E-Nova Srl on the roof of a residential building, and the presence of floor covering was not an issue: Sun Ballast's ballasts for photovoltaics
do not require anchor holes and rest on special protective mats. This way, the installation is quick and safe, even on the most sensitive materials, without damaging surfaces and simplifying all phases of assembly. Thanks to the
pre-installed M8 plugs in the concrete of the ballast for photovoltaics, the attachment of the photovoltaic module is also done quickly, and the
numerous inclinations for the Connect system (
from 5° to 30°) allow for the selection of the most suitable ballast model for the specific requirements of the system.
