The Sun Ballast structures have been developed to ensure a
simple and quick installation on any type of flat surface, from membranes to the pavements of residential buildings: this system was implemented in Sandrigo (VI) by our client CSVR S.r.l., and the gravel present on the roof of the industrial facility did not pose any problem at all. The placement of the ballasts was indeed carried out with
great ease, and not requiring any prior preparation allowed for a reduction in installation time of over 30%. This is an important figure, especially when the size of the photovoltaic system is substantial: in this case, the generated power is indeed as high as
668 kWp, and thanks to the integration of the
Connect system with the
Vela system, the overall quality of the installation has reached the highest level. By combining all the structures into a single collaborative grid, the Connect 5° has indeed ensured an extremely high
wind resistance, providing the system with excellent stability even during the most intense gusts. To optimize the available surface area, for some areas of the building, the Vela system was chosen: in this case, the rows of panels are arranged consecutively, one next to the other with increasing height. By eliminating the distance between the photovoltaic modules, the Vela system allows for maximum utilization of the entire surface dedicated to the installation, optimizing the overall performance of the system and ensuring
maximum efficiency.
