This small flat roof photovoltaic system of
6 kW was created by
Airtec in
Vedene (France) using photovoltaic structures from Sun Ballast. The concrete ballast
does not require holes in the roof, the
M8 anchors are already pre-installed in the structure, and the installation is
simple and quick on any type of building. The use of this system also allowed for flexible adjustments in both the length of the rows and the distance between them, which considerably simplified the installation phases. The ballast systems for photovoltaic installations of the
Single Row System 15° ─ also available with inclinations of
0°, 3°, 5°, 10°, 20°, and 30°, allow for the mounting of modules in
vertical and horizontal positions, giving professionals the option to choose the most suitable installation based on the characteristics of the system and the building. To further increase stability and wind resistance, the
Cablowind system was added to the ballasts, a special concrete channel that serves both as additional weight and as a box for electrical cables. No holes were required for Cablowind either, and the metal guides on which the channel is placed are fixed directly to the anchors already inserted in the back of the photovoltaic structures. The use of Cablowind has thus reinforced the
security of the system and provided the end customer with the highest level of reliability.
