A small photovoltaic system of 6 kWp has been installed on the flat roof of a house using the 10° ballast of the Standard system from Sun Ballast. The available surface, covered with a membrane, had some small obstacles, so the Standard system, with its great advantage of being very versatile, a factor that allows for easy avoidance of obstacles on the roof, proved to be the most suitable system for the realization of this photovoltaic plant. In addition to versatility, one of the main features to consider is the resistance, which has been increased with the addition of our accessory Cablowind, an accessory with dual function: it allows for the proper housing of cables and increases the wind resistance of the entire system. Furthermore, Sun Ballast systems are perfect because they do not require holes in the support surface; they are simply placed, ensuring that the protective and waterproofing properties of the membrane covering the area remain intact. The use of the special membranes provided by Sun Ballast creates an additional protective layer and prevents the possible sliding of the ballasts. Once again, our structures have allowed our client AC SOLAR SRL to successfully realize a photovoltaic system that is efficient, versatile, and solid.
