A spacious area but rich in a multitude of obstacles, what better choice than the Sun Ballast Sail System? A beautiful installation on a flat roof covered with a membrane, carried out by our client GMA Impianti Elettrici S.r.l., who, with the support of the Sun Ballast technical office, chose to install the Sail system with a 5° inclination that can reach a maximum of 6 rows installed one behind the other but can also be installed individually if needed. The Sun Ballast Sail system is particularly suitable for use on small-sized roofs, as it allows for maximum utilization of the limited space available by eliminating all the gaps usually left free between the rows of modules. However, it is also perfect, as in the case of this installation, to be the solution for large roofs scattered with obstacles that significantly reduce the usable space for the installation. The 6 rows of panels perfectly occupy the space between one obstacle and another, managing to achieve a total production of 18 kWp of renewable energy.
