A great photovoltaic system: productive, robust, and quick to install: the system built by our client JP Energie Environnement in Mazamet (France) is the perfect example of the versatility of Sun Ballast ballasts, which can be successfully used on all types of flat surfaces, from the roofs of industrial buildings to large outdoor areas. This system was constructed with the structures for photovoltaic modules of the East-West System, which is available in many versions and, depending on the needs, can be combined with a wide range of Sun Ballast ballasts. In this case, the 5°.5 were selected, a model that can be used in single rows, in "sail" configurations, or in East-West arrangement, as in this case. The 5°.5 ballasts allow the photovoltaic modules to be kept relatively high above the ground, avoiding any contact with vegetation and facilitating the handling of possible irregularities in the terrain. The arrangement of the modules in the East-West direction also allows for completely eliminating the space between the rows, thus optimizing the entire area for installation and ensuring a high level of productivity for the system. Like all Sun Ballast systems, the system visible in the photo requires no drilling, neither in the ground nor in the ballast: Sun Ballast photovoltaic structures are designed to provide maximum wind resistance without being anchored to the ground, and the integrated fastening supports already built into the structure make the installation of the modules much faster and safer.
