Used by thousands of industry professionals, the flat roof mounting system Connect by Sun Ballast guarantees maximum wind resistance, while reducing loads on building roofs. The system is indeed of the Fermette type, and each ballast for photovoltaics is connected with all the others in a single network of structures: the weight distribution on the roof is thus well balanced across the entire surface, and stability is ensured even with strong arcs. Like all ballast systems for photovoltaics from Sun Ballast, the Connect system requires no fixing holes and can be easily and quickly used on any type of flat roof, from gravel-covered roofs to those with membranes or concrete. This 39 kW system was installed in Onara (PD) by our client Unosolare with a tilt of 10°: The three different structures for photovoltaics that make up the system are available with tilts from 5° to 30° and already include M8 fixing plugs: To install the photovoltaic system, you just need to place the ballasts on the surface, position the modules, tighten the clamps, and then make the electrical connections.
